talked about this with shakti and realized that i needed it all in one place for my own peace of mind. why is this kind of the best yaoi to come out of boys 2 planet and neither of them are even still on the show anymore.
anyways let me introduce you to chauyi / 赣球港 / 판윗
before we get into that actually let me very quickly give some context for mnet's insanity... basically boys 2 planet (they stylize it as boys II planet but i'm not doing that because it reminds me of high school) is the second season of boys planet, through which 9 members debuted as zerobaseone, who have a contract period of 2.5 years and are thus slated to disband sometime in january 2026. why are they doing another boys season immediately afterward instead of girls? no clue. the difference though is that boys 2 planet initially began as two separate shows: boys 2 planet K and boys 2 planet C, which would each produce their own group of 8 members each and promote separately in korea/china under separate companies. trainees who applied to the show had their choice to appear on the K or C version. then like a month before both shows were set to air mnet suddenly announced that actually they were going to merge the 2 shows into just the K version, and so suddenly instead of 2 sets of 80 trainees competing for 8 spots each there were now 160 trainees competing for 8 spots. and also all the C version trainees were suddenly expected to learn korean/work in korea.
this is relevant because mnet immediately had way too many trainees to handle, and so they did a huge elimination (not viewer voted, mentor/judge decisions only) that got rid of so many trainees they ended up with 52 K trainees and 28 C trainees. yes the K trainees had nearly double the number of C trainees. yes the C trainees got kicked out in the middle of the night with no warning whatsoever. yes it's fucked.
it's pretty much confirmed that the reason why K/C merged is because negotiations with yuehua, the company initially in charge of the C debut group, fell through (due to profit distribution or whatever) and so they pulled out last minute and refused to help mnet with the C group. and mnet decided that the best solution was to eliminate whoever they wanted until they got their ratio. except then they managed to find another chinese company to manage a C group (the company's yet to be announced) and so now after boys 2 planet has ended there's going to be a separate C group spinoff survival show yet again......
ANYWAYS. let me shut up and get into the yaoi now.
the english & korean ship names (chauyi / 판윗) are just their names; zheyi 1 chauyuet 0. in china their name is 赣球港；赣 comes from zheyi's hometown of 赣州 (ganzhou), 球 comes from 星球 (planet) as a reference to boys 2 planet, and 港 comes from chauyuet's hometown of 香港 (hong kong). CP fans are called 小白s, because 小白 is the name of the plushie that zheyi gave chauyuet as a farewell gift after he got eliminated.

chauyuet is currently working as an actor/model in hong kong after graduating from the hong kong baptist university's film department. before that though he wanted to be an idol and trained in korea for 5 years (ages 16 - 21), but on the show is an individual trainee with no company. he also went on starlight boys but was similarly eliminated pretty early on 💔
i've put his rank down here as 25 because when the two shows were separate that was his last rank on the C version, before mnet started randomly eliminating people left and right via the mentors.
personality-wise he's a pretty calm/quiet guy. he's introverted and likes photography but will also tell bad dad jokes on account of being "old." and that's pretty much all i can say about him because he quite literally got ZERO screentime on the whole show... his audition didn't get aired his signal song test tryout/reassignment/etc didn't get aired he literally never got screentime until he got eliminated. and it was a this devastating clip of zheyi hugging him goodbye... but i'll get into that later.

zheyi is like. douyin influencer campus heartthrob in a similar way that zhang hao was except to a lesser extent (because zhang hao went to a "normal" university and so his visuals stood out pretty drastically while zheyi's in the acting department at donghua and so his campus is regularly filled with extremely attractive people). he got love calls to be on pretty much every single chinese survival show there possibly was but he specifically held out for boys planet, because he's a huge kpop fan and is determined to debut in korea. he's never had proper kpop training (save for a potential summer program he did at yuehua) but has taken dance classes and the like and everyone knew he wanted to be a trainee very early on. he's done miscellaneous jobs involving brand events because brand/talent scouts keep chasing after him. he got a huge highlight in the first two episodes of planet C because he ranked 2nd amongst the 80 C trainees due to all the preshow hype, but once the shows merged he lost all his screentime and ended up falling to 24th. then, mnet decided to hold a live survivor voting for 24th place with 3 contenders from 24 - 26 ranks. mnet gave one of the other contenders a super favorable edit right before the live voting which let him win the survivor vote, even though if you total up their votes zheyi still ranked 24th 💔
personality-wise zheyi is very much a gentle giant... he likes cute things and collects dolls/keychains (clipped all the keychains fans gave him to his backpack), cries super easily (got emotional after reading a fan letter), and also gets scared super easily (in the 6 seconds he got during the horror content they filmed). he cooks for the dorm and wakes up his roommates like this. but at the same time he's kind of goofy like whatever this was and insists on his government-assigned animal being a bunny even though everyone pretty much unanimously decided he was a baby panda (hence why his fans are called panduris) like okay king... whatever you say.
now you may be wondering. if their only screentime together on the show was literally a 10 second clip of them hugging as chauyuet got eliminated why the hell are you so invested. BECAUSE....... look at the material
- they met and got close during the signal song because they talked to e/o while filming
- which meant that during the preshow planet showcase (or whatever the hell they called it) they basically stuck next to e/o the whole time, which meant there are lots of videos like this and photos like this
- before the show aired they were spotted shopping together in june while wearing matching flannels
- when chauyuet got eliminated they hug and he says "puppy i'm leaving now" to which zheyi sobs and goes "no... you can't... you can't" x2
- as a parting gift zheyi gave him his plushie (named 小白, which their fans are also called) which is significant because it's a white dog and chauyuet's nickname for him is puppy
- and also at the airport chauyuet was listening to zheyi's favorite song (yura yura — zerobaseone)
- when the trainees got free time (between the first and second stages) chauyuet flew back to korea just so he could hang out with zheyi & co. because he had no other reason to be in korea
- they went to hotpot & took photobooth photos & shopped together
- fans noticed that they seemed to be holding hands in one photo (the two in front) so people started talking about it on weibo
- and then unprompted they were like "we didn't hold hands!" which means they're clearly lurking on their weibo ship supertopic. help
- fans also noticed that they seem to wear the same clothes
- when asked chauyuet said that they packed their suitcases together so neither of them remember whose clothing is whose anymore
- when zheyi got announced as a 24th rank contender chauyuet posted an instagram story saying "please vote for my friend fan zheyi"
- chauyuet used to post instagram stories right after an episode aired to demonstrate that he was watching the show but the minute zheyi got eliminated he stopped doing all that (one of the qrts was like "i also wouldn't watch a shitty show that made my girlfriend cry")
- after zheyi got eliminated he made an instagram which chauyuet promoted (the caption says "he is here 🐰")
- he was also zheyi's first follower and they keep being each other's first likes on their respective posts
- in one of their posts on instagram they show a bunch of polaroids that basically reveal the fact that they were living together in korea (alongside peng jinyu & sun jiayang, likely during the weird periods between boys 2 planet filmings) because of the same backgrounds/props in each photo
- they also have matching bios on xiaohongshu
- and then chauyuet also accidentally followed a fan after seeing a ship post of him and zheyi 😭 basically in the screenshot below the notification shows "chauyuet followed you based off X post" and the post in question says "are you going on a date with fan zheyi" so... you know he eventually had to scramble to unfollow
- once zheyi flew back to china (specifically his house in shenzhen) he started posting reels. and look who showed up in one of them... which means that chauyuet not only followed zheyi to china but also is clearly living with him (background of the reel matches other reels he's posted before)
- they played valorant together (alongside peng jinyu) and based on the scores alone you can tell chauyuet dgaf about this game. he is just here to support <3
so now they're happily living together in shenzhen until the finale when they'll head back to korea to be audience members and witness the debut of zb2 or alpha1 or ald1 or whatever terrible name the group winds up with. if they do anything else until then i'll update this post. but otherwise all we can do is pray some company picks them both up to debut or if they've both decided not to be idols anymore that they manage to maintain long distance relationship as zheyi goes back to shanghai for school and chauyuet continues modeling/acting/etc in hong kong while visiting zheyi in between jobs. the end <3

if you know anything about me you know that i love MIFFY and the color PURPLE! specifically light purple/lavender.
anyway i've been meaning to do a little wimb of my makeup stuff, and my sister recently obtained the new miffy pouch from hema while she was in europe for me so i'm thinking of finally letting go of my beloved rilakkuma makeup pouch that has served me for 2 years... but i still want to use it so i'm trying to think of how to organize my things and maybe i should keep one pouch for like hair accessories or other items? or have a strictly travel pouch so that i can keep it packed at all times... idk.
this is a pretty simple breakdown because i don't use eye makeup (i have very sensitive eyes that are prone to styes), so my daily routine is literally just brows + lips + cheeks LOL. i also mainly use 4 brands: glossier, canmake, benefit, and rom&nd... anyway here is the list.
✶ base & skin ✶
1. canmake mermaid skin gel uv MINT (¥770 / $5): i got a bunch of these when i was in japan/make my family get a bunch if any of them go to japan because i hate paying usa import tax when i buy jp products... i really love this sunscreen and i especially love the green one because i'm cool-toned but get red flareups and this helps even out my tone a lot!
2. rare beauty liquid touch brightening concealer 150C ($24): idk that this is that amazing but i tried this once and liked it and have just been using it since. i don't use that much concealer/base foundation, i just dab a bit on my redder areas and blend it out with my fingers and hope for the best LOL. i don't wear that much makeup in general so it does the trick
3. canmake marshmallow finish powder #01 (¥1034 / $7): i don't really get what the "brightening" effect is but it's a cute tin and it works fine as a setting powder. i don't use this much since i barely put on concealer but it's useful to have!!! the colors in the tin have gotten all blended up though 😭
4. kosé make keep mist ex limited moomin lavender version ? ($??): this is my setting spray that i bought in japan entirely because it's purple and has moomin on it. again since i don't wear makeup that much i still have some left after 2 years lol is that ok how long is setting spray supposed to last... anyway i will probably just keep using this bottle and clean it out and put other liquid in it after i finish it 😭
✶ brows ✶
1. benefit goof proof brow pencil in 4.5 (brown) ($28): she's served me well over the years... i've tried other brow products but this is the only one i'm really comfortable with. i have very sparse brows so i fill out my ends with this as the base
2. glossier boy brow in brown ($22): this one is optional but if i'm feeling crazayyyy i'll use this to spruce things up lol. but i can't be giving glossier money like that so i don't use it too much
✶ lips & cheeks ✶
1. benefit benetint cheek & lip stain raspberry ($28): can't get over when i had to go to sephora to refill this and i asked one of the workers there "does this exist but like... cheaper?" and she looked at me with so much disdain and went Ummmm i don't think it gets much cheaper than this. ok guess i'll KILL MYSELFFFFF. god forbid a woman want a stain for less than 28 dollars 😭😭😭 i do really enjoy this product though, i use it on my lips as the base stain and then dot some on my cheeks for my blush before i apply my rom&nd products and it does the trick!
2. rom&nd stuff: i have a bunchhhh of rom&nd lip products lol but the ones i keep on rotation in my makeup bag are dewyful water tint (#14 peach mocha) and juicy lasting tint (#28 bare fig). all the fig ones are like my holy grail because they're very mlbb for me so i like them a lot. i have fig fig somewhere but i don't know which bag i've accidentally stashed it away in 🥲
3. colorgram fruity glass tint #7: i just got this at a random makeup store so i don't remember how much it cost but i find the packaging really cute LOL. i was torn between this one and #9 (heartful mulberry) but they were sold out of that one so i went for this... i love a lavender/pink combo 🥰
4. canmake stay-on balm rouge #09 (¥638 / $4): this is a nice little balm that i enjoy putting on over my lip products because it has a small tint but also feels moisturizing. not super necessary because i also have other balms but i do like it a lot! if i'm feeling super lazy and no-makeup makeup i'll just wear this on its own.
✶ other ✶
1. glossier you fleur 8ml perfume ($32): loveeee this perfume and i don't wear perfume in general but this is the one i use and i like it a lot. i also liked the original you when i tested them in store but i was split on them so i went with fleur because it's purple LMFAO.
2. various miffy bandages. you can never be too ready
3. glossier mini laptop mirror ($16): this shit is ridiculous but i love it LOL. i actually keep it in my crossbody bags not my makeup bag so i can use it on the go but it's so cute...
4. various hair claws 💗 again i keep this with my other bags but i wanted to display them. my 3 favs at the moment are artist cat that i recently got at a craft fair, stack of books, and my trusty croissant clip from sydney. hehe

anyway that is the list... as u can see i don't own that many products but i like my staple brands! i will have to consider what to do with my bag/organization situation.
