i'm sorry this is seriously way too long.

hiii okay obviously this is based off the limited content that i’ve seen cuz they have a ridiculous amount of vlives for a group that debuted like 6 months ago SO this is a work in progress. but i have seen pretty much all of their youtube content / some choice full vlives / way too many vlive clip compilations. also everyone say thank you @girlrock for helping out with the pdx lore knowledge and always enabling my useless content. <3 ahhmmm okay let’s go boyagers!

alex/anyone

so sorry to this man but i just haven’t seen enough to differentiate his relationship with any of the members… like he’s just this kid who’s 2-5 years younger than the rest that they definitely think is cute and endearing but woollim just stuck him with them a couple months before they debuted and they all have so much history and then alex is kind of just there. but i’ll try to stop ignoring the few clips that show up in my recs with him in them so i can finally put something here<3 it’s cute how he’s so clingy tho. ?

hyeop/yunseong

when your mathyung line is actually really compelling?! let me just talk about hyeop for a second i won’t lie i was kind of worried that he was like… the estranged eldest member when i was first watching their content because “we are drippin” especially does NOT really show most of their dynamix properly?? and he’s usually off camera for most of their music show behinds (despite constantly Saying Shit during px101) so i was like Ah. . . . but no he’s insane on vlive so it’s fine<3 a personal highlight is hyeop calling yunseong out for looking and acting like the annoying orange and then complimenting his butt 5 minutes later while yunseong sputters and hits him. yunseong also loves to imitate hyeop’s way of talking which is… well he does it with minseo too so i’ll let you draw your own conclusions there but i don’t think it’s mean spirited especially because hyeop makes fun of yunseong’s high tone right back. and then same with any group where the leader isn’t the eldest they sort of have an interesting relationship where yunseong clearly looks to hyeop for guidance / yunseong said he doesn’t have to scold hyeop because he handles his own self well enough / there’s also some really cute clips where he waits for hyeop’s signal to do their introduction / ETC. ETC. clearly i’m not immune

hyeop/changuk

this is similar to hyeop/dongyun but i feel like hyeop and dongyun are slightly closer?? actually dongyun is like *pretends that he's the 02 maknae even though junho and minseo are both younger than him* and then changuk is more driven/reliable so i feel like that informs their dynamics with hyeop. dongyun said that he recruited hyeop into woollim because he LIKED HIM and said that they got close during monday to sunday even though they were also on the same team during clap. hyeop basically helped dongyun join mts team with changuk even though none of the other teams on pdx wanted to recruit him after he was voted back as the x trainee and then hyeop was like "we chose you because we know you'll do well" T____T and then the show ended and hyeop was getting lovecalls from fantagio / random companies except DONGYUN AND CHANGUK singlehandedly lovecalled hyeop to woollim <3 also if you watch game king/hyeop kitchen content dongyun hatecrimes hyeop SOOO MUCH and is always trying to prank him / hyeop retaliates by trying to put him in a chokehold but it's like all really endearing/teasing. tfw hyeop is just this cute mathyung to dongyun and he enjoys making fun of him too much <3 and then dongyun is like cute seoul boy to hyeop who cherishes him a lot and always loves TOUCHING HIS (PEACH FUZZ) EARS :sob: (© girlrock)

why is the only time i’ve seen these two interact during that one clip where hyeop pretends to be yunseong’s girlfriend unprovoked and then minseo is just in the middle acting horrified. and then afterwards hyeop is like “sorry” and minseo’s like [nervously] haha that was cute right? anyway these two kind of remind me of seongmin and hyeongjun… i will not be expanding

hyeop/junho

i think they tried to give junho a kind of cold visual image at first but honestly he was really fun and cute dynamix with everyone… he loves to ramble on and tell his little stories and make fun of the other members<3 one of my favorite moments was hyeop (and all of the other members besides changuk) forgetting junho’s birthday at first and junho being sulky about it and then out of nowhere at the end hyeop is like “should i make it up to you with a kiss?” and junho’s like no that would make it worse actually. and then another moment where junho asks hyeop and changuk to pick between 차준호 (cold-junho) and 따뜨준호 (warm-junho) and hyeop picks warm-junho because he prefers warm men over cold men…

anyway my vague impression of the hyeop closeness scale is like dongyun >= changuk > yunseong > junho > minseo

yunseong/changuk

um i watched a clip where they do each other’s hair on vlive and it was… well it was as bad as you’d imagine. oh i also watched their entire live with minseo but the thing i remember most was minseo’s long winded story and them just looking at each other like “what is this guy going on about...” can you tell that i’m an unreliable narrator. anyway i think they’re good friends i think everyone in drippin is at least relatively close. they often say stuff like “we’re all just nice” and “we’re all friends” and it shows!

yunseong/dongyun

i think this dynamic is like the in-between point of his dynamic with changuk & with minseo… the midpoint on the clown ←→ baby scale… that being said i haven’t seen them interact enough to know. EDIT apparently they used to call each other 돼지 and dongyun was like no let's pick different nicknames so now he calls yunseong BAMBI and yunseong calls him JIMMY NEUTRON. yeah. and they're also weirdly whiny and clingy around each other i don't know i'm insane now

yunseong/minseo

ok where do i start. LOL this was the first dynamic that interested me when i got into drippin which i think is partly due to that unhelpful guide which called yunseong a MINSEO ANTI and their tom and jerry dynamic which i love… whether it’s drawing horrible pictures of each other, trying to drown each other in the pool, or making fun of each other’s voices (minseo calls yunseong’s impression of his “한입만요” the funniest thing in the world / one of his life’s joys), they’re always all up in each other’s business ^__^ i also really love their dynamic because i think it’s the perfect amount of like… playing around and teasing while yunseong still dotes on minseo?? [insert photo of yunseong princess-carrying him] LIKE yunseong loves to call minseo a baby / cute (that one moment where a vlive comment called minseo a baby and he was like hehe ^^ and the other members were like no you’re not. and then yunseong was like well have we considered that he is tho? and another moment in one of their first behind videos where minseo was so nervous to be on camera alone he was like [pleading eyes emoji] yunseong come help and then started kneading his hands and yunseong was like (sigh) look at this. 애기예요 아주 (“he’s a baby, totally”).

[deep breath] and also yunseong being close with minseo’s parents & talking to them on the phone a lot and changuk being like lol sounds like a parent/teacher conference??! they also did this really weird roleplay where yunseong pretended to be a really timid 16 yr old and minseo was like his dependable hyung but i’m not going to get into that. another telling moment is yunseong saying his first impression of minseo is that he was cute but his eyes were full of fire & that he was always working hard and then goes on about how he wanted to teach him everything about dance.... and then he reads this comment thats like “yunseong seems to really adore minseo” and minseo’s like “ya i think he really likes me... changuk too but yunseong rly treats me like...” and then goes off about how he’s never had any hyungs but he likes how ys teaches/leads him. i could keep going even tho i really need to stop but i just love how their dynamic seems kind of one-note at first but they’re closer than you’d expect and they’re both so different but clearly respect each other so much despite all their teasing and like Yeah. this is way too long

yunseong/junho

going to pass out because all i can think of when it comes to these two is their c^nty I’M NOT COOL tiktok…. and then when i tried to look them up together i just get this junho px101 관계성 모음 with 200k+ views when all of these similar drippin videos ive watched have like 5k at the most. anyway (broken record) they’re all friends but fsr i havent seen the same level of like ~doting~ between these two that you’d expect… but i will keep my eyes peeled

changuk/dongyun

okay i'm pretty sure dongyun was the first drippin member to join woollim and changuk joined pretty soon after that so they have a lot of history and they seem close to me… but also i have limited knowledge of their current drippin dynamix so idk. but basically they were paired together a lot for pdx and were alwayssss sitting together no matter what and when changuk got #30 during the top 30 elimination and dongyun got #31 they cried while hugging each other and it was so much. and then when dongyun got voted back changuk was really excited about it and was like "hyung you're going to recruit him onto your team right???" to yunseong but in the end ONLY CHANGUK RECRUITED HIM. and i think changuk bears responsibility really well (had to rearrange the entire mts choreography for dongyun from 6 people to 7 people) and looks out for dongyun a lot so i like their dynamic even if they're just kind of like #BESTIES to me as far as i can see... honestly feel like changuk is just a #bestie presence to everyone like he’s just here to have fun and beat everyone on game king so he can win an IPAD….. he loves to make fun of minseo tho (who doesn’t) and him miming how minseo washes his hair in the shower so he doesn’t have to close his eyes after watching a scary movie was so funny… can we please let kim minseo live

changuk/junho

:weary: so junho is babie? during one of changuk’s solo lives junho comes to bother him aka drape himself all over him and changuk’s like “we all like skinship here…” (unrelated but hyeop is also there and goes “i want to do skinship too!” and hugs both of them. alex is also there) and then when the other two leave junho’s like “i’m gonna stay and bother you til the end…” and then falls asleep on his shoulder for like thirty seconds?!? it’s also cute how changuk thought junho was older at first / he was really shy / and now he’s Like That. and okay i dont know why im putting this here but i dont even think junho is that much of a visual but his “baby” “energy” really gets to me for some reason. it’s fine tho

dongyun/minseo

THAT CLIP OF DONGYUN MAKING FUN OF MINSEO’S SCHOOL MUSIC VIDEOOOO T__T so cute. i think these two are definitely close & comfortable with each other, a lot of other members have said how much they goof around (that aforementioned clip where minseo is shy on camera and yunseong’s like “you should see how he plays around with dongyun.”) and this is from predebut but dongyun said that minseo stole his phone and changed his contact name to 잘생긴민서 and minseo was SO embarrassed like why are you saying this!!! anyway dongyun is really personable and friendly and so is minseo (in different ways imo but) it makes their interax really fun to witness<3 big fan of these 02z.

dongyun/junho

these two have so many cute moments… first of all theres the whole nightmare ssul which is when dongyun had this self-described “horrible nightmare where i get betrayed” and then woke up and cried silently while trying not to wake junho up T__T and no they’re not roommates when junho tells this story he says that he had been feeling depressed and went to dongyun to cheer himself up and then they ended up falling asleep together T____T but yeah junho talks about it too (hilariously hyeop is there both times its mentioned and calls dongyun cute like 100 times) and says that dongyun didn’t realize that junho was awake the entire time and didn’t know what to doooo he said that he felt bad like his depressed mood had moved on to dongyun… i’m also a huge fan of dongyun talking about how junho used to always call him cute but then he suddenly “became chic” one day and wouldn’t play around with him during their duo part in the choreo and so dongyun looked at him and said “you’ve changed.” and junho says that shook him to his core because he’d never been told that before… so yeah i unexpectedly really like these two

minseo/junho

i think minseo just has a crush on junho wow who said that? anyways if we’re still not acknowledging alex these two would be the maknaez (well dongyun too but this isn’t about him rn) and they kind of exist on both ends of the spectrum--junho is kind of the [gremlin laugh] [supposed to be the ice prince but talks way too much] [we all still like him anyway] and then minseo is like [fruity laugh] [naturally emotive and talkative] [everyone makes fun of him lovingly] ??? oh and they’re also ROOMMATES and minseo has said that they’re perfectly matched and junho was like [makes a face] well i guess we’re all entitled to our opinions. they also switched school uniforms on vlive once and junho looked so small in minseo’s little vest and was making fun of his shoulders and minseo was like [deeply red] STOP it just SHRUNK in the WASH. minseo has also said that his first impression of junho was “like in a drama when the handsome guy opens the door and the world goes to slow motion.”

also kind of a huge fan of this quote from junho during their duo live:

“너랑 나랑 결이 약간 다르잖아, 왜냐하면 너는 친근한 건 사실이야… 난 정말 아낌없이 애정을 주고 사랑하잖아.”

“you and i are a little different, because it’s true that you’re friendly/warm… but i show affection and love without restraint.”

and then when minseo goes “is that true?” junho’s like “partly--not to you though” and then they laugh about it but LIKE. the idea of minseo being outwardly friendly and easy to tease but keeping his truer feelings inside while junho wears his heart on his sleeve and easily shows affection but can’t do it to minseo is so weirdly compelling.

T_______T i think there's something wrong with me
